Momentum Money ("we," "us," "our") operates the Momentum Money web and mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Account information: Your email address and a password you choose when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive the email address and profile name Google shares with us.
Payment information: When you purchase access, payment is processed by Wix Payments (branded to you as Base44 Payments). We do not receive or store your full card number — only a record that your purchase was completed, the amount, and the email you used at checkout.
Information you enter into the tools: The debts, payoff preferences, "Your Why" text, and emotional check-in reflections you create while using the app. This data is tied to your account and is not shared with other users.
Technical information: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) and analytics events (such as which tools you open) used to improve the Service.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account and verify your purchase.
- To display your own data back to you in the calculator, check-ins, and dashboard.
- To send you a welcome email after purchase and, if you contact us, to reply.
- To analyze aggregate usage to improve the Service.
- To prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your account and tool data are stored in our database with row-level access controls — only you (and our administrators for support) can read or modify your records. Payment data is handled by Wix Payments under their own security standards.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Data Retention
We keep your account and tool data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Third-Party Services
- Wix Payments / Base44 Payments — processes your purchase. Subject to Wix's privacy policy.
- Google — if you use Google sign-in. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
We do not share your tool data (debts, check-ins, reflections) with any third party.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Because your tool data is yours, you can also delete individual debts and check-ins directly within the app at any time.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will note the date of the last update below and notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice.
